  • What is The Toast of the Coast Awards?

    It’s a new event, hosted by Yorkshire Coast Radio, in partnership with Lloyd Dowson Chartered Accountants and SIV. The event is to celebrate the best of the Yorkshire Coast, and will give recognition to people and businesses in the area that are doing good things.

  • When is the event?

    The event takes place on Friday 6th October 2017 in the Ocean Room at Scarborough Spa.

  • I’m a local business. Can I nominate myself?

    Yes! There are various categories for local businesses. Nominations are accepted from businesses. Tell us why you deserve to win an award.

  • Can I nominate somebody I know who I think deserves an award?

    Yes! There are various ‘people’ categories. If you know someone who is deserving of an award, tell us why.

  • What happens once I have made a nomination?

    Nominations in some of the categories will be shortlisted and put to a public vote. In other categories a panel of judges will determine the finalists. All finalists will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the event.

  • Can I buy tickets?

    Yes! Tickets will be on sale soon. They will be priced at £45 each, and will include a reception drink, 3 course dinner and entertainment.

  • What is the dress code for the event?

    Dress to impress! This is going to be one big party, so dress to impress!

  • What is the closing date for nominations?

    All nominations must be made by 12noon on Thursday 24th August 2017, so don’t leave it too late!
